Why Advance Plumbing
The most common cause of bathroom renovation problems is inadequate waterproofing — specifically, not correctly tanking the shower area and wet room floor before tiling. Water finds the smallest gap and, over time, will saturate the substrate, cause tile adhesion failure, and rot the floor structure.
Advance Plumbing renovations include a full waterproofing specification as standard. Shower areas and wet rooms are tanked with BAL Tanking Slurry or equivalent BS EN 14891-compliant membrane systems before any tiling begins.

Yes. Our tiling teams hold British Standards Institute qualifications for wall and floor tiling. We use only BS EN 12004-compliant adhesives and grouts.

Yes. We design and install level-access showers, walk-in baths, grab rails, and anti-scald TMV valves for older adults and people with disabilities.
